A sales partnership starts with the question of which customers and applications you serve. This determines which products, which support and which training you need, and how we divide the work between your team and ours.
We clarify market, customer groups and applications and put together the right range. Besides our own brand SANlicht, this includes controls, masts and mounting accessories, and the overview of the product range gives a first impression.
We train sales and technical staff on products, controls and the standards used for design. We prepare the content with a practical focus for your target group, at our premises or at yours.
For projects of your customers we calculate variants and supply LDT data, data sheets and samples. Data sheets are available in German, French and Italian, which makes work in multilingual markets easier.
If no standard product fits, we develop custom solutions from our own production: profiles, custom lengths and small batches, from the technical drawing and prototype to series production. Manufacturing, testing and packaging take place at our factory in Aarau.
We deliver standard goods from our warehouse in Suhr and project goods with a project-specific parts list and in project packaging, directly to the site on request. Express deliveries are available for refurbishments and repairs.
Our back-office team in Suhr is available for queries and spare parts. Because the luminaires are built to be repairable, a defect can be fixed with a spare part even years after delivery.
We design and document indoor lighting to EN 12464-1:2021, adopted in Switzerland as SN EN 12464-1. Most relevant for your customers are the modified illuminance values, the values for walls and ceilings in the tables and the flicker metrics PstLM and SVM, for which the EU Ecodesign Regulation 2019/2020 sets binding limits. Outdoors, SN EN 13201 applies to traffic areas, SN EN 12193 to sports facilities and EN 12464-2 to outdoor workplaces. For projects in Switzerland we verify the energy demand of indoor lighting to SIA 387/4. For controls we rely on internationally standardised systems such as DALI-2, and for connected outdoor luminaires we recommend open interfaces such as Zhaga Book 18 with D4i.
For projects of your customers in Switzerland, ProKilowatt can contribute up to 30% of the investment, and Lightbankplus is an option for smaller projects. Street lighting is excluded from both, and new buildings from ProKilowatt as well. For indoor lighting, the energy demand must be below the ProKilowatt maximum value under SIA 387/4, and orders may only be placed after the funding decision. We prepare the supporting evidence, and our summary of the ProKilowatt conditions shows whether an application is worthwhile.
The project combines Lumines LED profiles with the Carmenna pendant luminaire: 20 Foldo profile luminaires are recessed as slim lines into the acoustic sails, and five Carmenna pendants set a counterpoint in the meeting area. The luminaires were made in our own production and installed by Elektro Hartmann AG, which we supported and briefed throughout.
The mall and underground car park combine Aletsch, Carmenna, Zinal, Bernina and SANlicht Line, plus Loop, developed specifically for the perforated metal ceiling. We backed the requirements of the architectural concept with lighting calculations and settled them with everyone involved at the site meetings. All luminaires are designed ready-to-repair.
