At the SBB Rail Technology Center in Hägendorf we renewed the lighting of the entire hall without touching the existing infrastructure — the 432 new light-line inserts slot into the existing DALI control as if they had always been there. The lighting design to SN EN 12464 and the energy verification to SIA 387/4 were calculated in our own house, the luminaires then assembled exactly as the electrical contractor needed them, with a project-specific parts list enclosed for every axis. Delivered pre-palletised and in project packaging, the whole hall stood in new light within the given time window — with little packaging waste and no searching on site. Because we sized quantity and output consistently to the actual demand, the energy demand falls by 130 MWh, with 21 % fewer light points. And because every light-line insert stays repairable and can be freed of dust without effort, the installation remains serviceable across its entire service life.
