Neurology and Headache Practice

In this practice in the heart of Zurich, light was part of the concept from the very start and not the last layer laid over it. We built the lighting mood room by room: warm grazing lines in reception, corridor and quiet room, and in the treatment and consulting rooms glare-free 1'000 lux instead, so that every detail stays visible at the workplace. We manufactured the LED profiles for this individually for each room and cut them precisely to the ceiling sails, niches and furniture edges. 70 luminaires run on a DALI control system that calls up the right scene for examination, conversation and rest. Together with the client and Roland Gantenbein of AR Elektro, an ambience has emerged in which medical staff and patients feel equally at ease.

The right lighting makes all the difference. It creates atmosphere and contributes decisively to people feeling at ease in our practice.
